After an early breakfast in Pokhara, drive towards Siwai, the starting point of your trek into the Annapurna region. The scenic drive (approx. 2–3 hours) takes you through terraced fields, rivers, and traditional villages. From Siwai, begin your trek, passing through Samrung and crossing suspension bridges over the Modi Khola. The trail gradually ascends through lush forests and stone staircases, giving you your first true taste of Himalayan trekking. After breakfast at Upper Sinuwa, continue your trek deeper into the Annapurna region. The trail descends through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests before reaching Dovan, a small riverside stop along the Modi Khola. As you gain altitude, the forest begins to thin, revealing towering cliffs and snow-capped peaks ahead. Today is the most rewarding day of your journey. After an early breakfast in Deurali, begin your ascent through the narrow valley, surrounded by towering हिमालयन cliffs. The trail gradually opens up as you approach Machapuchare Base Camp, offering your first breathtaking close-up views of the sacred fishtail mountain. From MBC, continue towards Annapurna Base Camp. As you enter the Annapurna Sanctuary, the landscape transforms into a stunning natural amphitheater, surrounded by हिमालयन giants like Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare.
