Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Travories uses cookies and similar technologies — including pixel tags, local storage, and software development kits inside our mobile app — to deliver our service, keep you signed in, and understand how our platform is used. This policy explains the categories of cookies we set, why each category exists, and the choices you have to limit or refuse them.

What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser or device. Cookies set by Travories directly are described as first-party; cookies set by partners that we embed (payment processors, analytics, fonts) are third-party. Cookies can be either session-only (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (kept across visits for a defined expiry).

Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary cookies. Required for core platform functions — signing in, holding your cart and booking session, fraud prevention, and load balancing. These cookies cannot be disabled in the Travories interface; turning them off in your browser will prevent the platform from working.

Functional cookies. Remember your language, currency, recently viewed packages, and preferred filters so the site feels coherent across visits. Disabling these does not break the platform but does reset your preferences on each visit.

Analytics cookies. Help us understand traffic patterns, page performance, and which features are used most. We use aggregated, non-identifying analytics — we do not build advertising profiles or sell analytics data.

Security cookies. Detect suspicious sign-in attempts, repeated form submissions, and other indicators of account abuse or fraud. These help us keep the marketplace trustworthy for travelers and agencies alike.

Managing Your Cookie Choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings — every major browser offers options to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete existing cookies. Visit your browser's help section for instructions specific to Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.

On mobile devices, you can reset the advertising identifier in your operating system settings ("Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS, "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" on Android). Bear in mind that fully blocking cookies may prevent you from signing in, completing payments, or saving favourites — core platform behaviour depends on at least the strictly necessary category remaining enabled.
