The most iconic trek on earth — the Everest Base Camp Trek — leads you through the heart of the Khumbu region to the foot of the world's highest mountain at 5,364 m. This 14-day journey through Sagarmatha National Park is a masterclass in everything that makes Nepal extraordinary: ancient Sherpa villages, Buddhist monasteries, glacial moraines, and a horizon full of eight thousanders.
You fly into Lukla before threading the Dudh Koshi valley north through Namche Bazaar — the Sherpa capital of the world — towards Tengboche, Dingboche, and, finally, Gorakshep. Two acclimatisation days are built in strategically for your body to adapt. From Gorakshep, you visit Base Camp itself, then earn Kala Patthar (5545 m) at dawn — the finest view of Everest available to any trekker on earth.
Our team handles every detail so you can focus entirely on the mountain. An adventure of a lifetime, built for those ready to answer the call.

Welcome to Nepal. Our team meets you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfers you to your hotel in Kathmandu (1400m). The afternoon is yours — explore Thamel, visit a stupa, or simply rest after your journey. This evening we gather for a full trek orientation: route overview, gear check, permit briefing, and introductions to your guide team. Tomorrow, Everest begins.
The adventure truly starts with a breathtaking 35-minute mountain flight to Lukla (2840m) — one of the world's most dramatic airport approaches. From Tenzing Hillary Airport, the trail descends alongside the Dudh Koshi River through pine and rhododendron forest, crossing suspension bridges to reach Phakding. A gentle first trekking day by design — your lungs and legs will thank you.
Today brings the trail's first real challenge. After Monjo and the Sagarmatha National Park entry gate, the route climbs steeply alongside the Dudh Koshi – crossing spectacular suspension bridges – before the famous final ascent into Namche Bazaar (3440 m). Your first views of Everest may appear on the ridge above town. Namche greets you with bakeries, warm lodges, and prayer flags.
A mandatory and deeply rewarding rest day. Our guide leads an acclimatisation hike above Namche to the Everest View Hotel at Syangboche (3962m) — where Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku crowd the horizon simultaneously. Descend to Namche for lunch, explore the Saturday market or the Sherpa Museum, and rest well. Tomorrow, the trail pushes further north.
Leaving Namche, the trail contours along a high ridge above the Dudh Koshi with sweeping views of Ama Dablam, Everest, and Lhotse stretching the entire way. Descending to Phunki Tenga, you cross the river before a steep climb through rhododendron forest to Tengboche (3860m). The famous Tengboche Monastery — most revered in the Khumbu — sits right on the ridge. Arrive in time for evening prayers.
The trail descends briefly through forest to Pangboche — home to the oldest monastery in the Khumbu — before climbing through increasingly open alpine terrain toward the upper Imja Khola valley. Vegetation thins, the landscape grows stark and dramatic. Dingboche (4410m) sits in a wide open valley with direct views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. Cold, clear, and extraordinary.
A second acclimatisation day — this time at 4410m. Our guide leads a hike to the ridge above Dingboche toward Nagarjun Hill (approx 5100m), where Makalu, Cho Oyu, Baruntse, and the full arc of the Khumbu Himalaya stretch across the horizon. Come down slowly, eat well, hydrate. Your body is preparing for the final push. Lobuche and Gorakshep lie directly ahead.
The trail north from Dingboche is one of the most emotionally powerful sections of the entire trek. Crossing the Thukla Pass ridge (4830m), you pass the memorial cairns of climbers lost on Everest — a sobering and deeply moving place. The landscape turns glacial and austere. Lobuche (4940m) is a cluster of teahouses at the edge of the Khumbu Glacier. The summit feels close now.
The biggest day of the trek. From Lobuche, the trail traverses the Khumbu Glacier moraine to Gorakshep (5164m), where you drop your packs and press on to Everest Base Camp (5364m). The base camp sits at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall — a dramatic, shifting landscape of seracs and crevasses draped in expedition flags. Return to Gorakshep for the night, with altitude and awe doing their work.
The early dawn start is essential. You climb Kala Patthar (5545 m) in darkness to catch the sunrise — and the most extraordinary view of Everest available to trekkers anywhere on earth. Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest herself glow in the first morning light. Descend to Gorakshep, have breakfast, and continue all the way down to Pheriche (4371m). Long and deeply earned.
The body descends eagerly. The trail retraces through the Khumbu valley — past Tengboche, through rhododendron forest, fragrant and dense, along familiar bridges and riverside paths. The pace is strong and the legs sure. Namche Bazaar (3440m) welcomes you back with a warm meal, a hot shower, and the quiet pride of a team that has stood at the foot of Everest and returned.
One final long day on the trail — the satisfying march back down the Dudh Koshi valley. Forests, suspension bridges, and river paths lead you through Phakding and back to Lukla (2840m). The trail feels familiar and the mood is celebratory. Arrive by early afternoon for a final teahouse dinner with your guide team. Tonight you have earned every single bite on the table.
An early morning flight carries you back over the mountains to Kathmandu — the same view as Day 2, now carrying an entirely different meaning. Transfer to your hotel and breathe the thicker air of the valley. The afternoon is free: explore Kathmandu, browse Thamel, or simply rest. This evening, our team gathers for your farewell dinner – stories, laughter, and a celebration well earned.
A free morning in Kathmandu before your onwards journey. Time for last-minute shopping in Thamel, a walk through Boudhanath or Durbar Square, or a quiet coffee before the airport run. Our team transfers you to Tribhuvan International Airport at your required time. The Khumbu is behind you. Everest Base Camp is behind you. What lies ahead is a life changed in ways only beginning to unfold.
