Your journey begins at Akshardham Temple with darshan and a group gathering before boarding a private bus toward Gorakhpur — a full day to rest and ease into the pilgrimage.
From Gorakhpur, you continue to the Sunauli Border, complete formalities, and enter Nepal. You then travel onward to the sacred Triveni Dham, a holy river confluence revered for its spiritual significance, marking your true arrival into the pilgrimage route.
After a peaceful night at Triveni Dham, the journey continues toward Luv Kush Ashram — a sacred site believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama's sons, Luv and Kush. Passing through Nepal's serene landscapes, the route takes you deeper into the spiritual heartland. Upon arrival, settle into the ashram, soak in its divine atmosphere, and join evening prayers — a soul-stirring experience that brings the stories of the Ramayana to life.
From Luv Kush Ashram, the journey continues toward Shrinagar, with a short stop to explore local temples and the peaceful riverside atmosphere. The route then leads to the stunning Rani Mahal — a historic palace along the Kali Gandaki River, often called the "Taj Mahal of Nepal." Surrounded by lush hills and natural beauty, this stop perfectly blends history, spirituality, and scenic charm, ending with an overnight stay near Rani Mahal.
Day 5 takes you from Rani Mahal towards Ramdipul, a spiritual stop known for its religious significance and storytelling traditions. After a brief visit and rest, the journey continues to Baglung, a key town on the route to Muktinath. The day combines travel with cultural and spiritual experiences, ending with an overnight stay in Baglung as you prepare for the higher Himalayan regions ahead.
On Day 6, the journey begins from Baglung with a visit to the sacred Baglung Kalika Temple, one of the most powerful Shakti temples in the region. After darshan, you continue towards Panchakot for a short stop, known for its spiritual and scenic setting. The route then leads to Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs, where you stay overnight and relax before heading into higher Himalayan areas.
Travel from Tatopani to Jomsom through some of the most dramatic scenery of the entire yatra. From Jomsom, continue to Muktinath Temple at 3,710 metres — one of Lord Vishnu's holiest shrines, set against the high Himalayas. Overnight stay at Muktinath, with darshan and rituals the following morning.
After darshan at Muktinath, descend through the Himalayas, stopping at Kagbeni — a sacred village at the gateway of Upper Mustang with an ancient Buddhist monastery. Continue to Marpha Village before arriving at Galeshwor Dham, a holy Shiva temple perched above the Kali Gandaki River. Overnight stay near Galeshwor.
Day 9 takes you from Galeshwor Dham to the beautiful city of Pokhara, known for its lakes and mountain views. After arrival, you explore key attractions including Tal Barahi Temple, Phewa Lake, and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. The evening is spent relaxing at Lakeside, making it a refreshing break after the high-altitude journey.
Depart Pokhara with a visit to Tal Barahi Temple, the sacred island shrine on Phewa Lake. Continue to Shree Bindhyabasini Temple, a revered hilltop shrine with peaceful surroundings and sweeping valley views. The journey then continues to Vyas Ashram, the legendary meditation cave of sage Vyas, before reaching Devghat — one of Nepal's holiest pilgrimage sites at the confluence of sacred rivers. Overnight stay at Devghat.
On Day 11, the journey continues from Devghat toward Sauraha, the gateway to Chitwan National Park. Settle into your accommodation and prepare for a full day of wildlife and nature ahead. Overnight stay at Sauraha.
Day 12 is dedicated to nature and wildlife as you explore Chitwan National Park. Enjoy activities like a jeep safari through the जंगल, where you may spot rhinos, deer, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. You can also experience a peaceful canoe ride and local cultural programs in the evening. This day offers a refreshing break from temple visits, with another overnight stay in Sauraha.
On Day 13, you leave Sauraha and travel towards Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and one of the most important spiritual destinations in the world. After arrival, you can relax and prepare for the full Lumbini tour the next day. The day is mostly focused on travel with a peaceful overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 14 is dedicated to exploring Lumbini, one of the most important spiritual destinations in the world. You will visit the sacred Maya Devi Temple, the exact birthplace of Lord Buddha, along with the historic Ashoka Pillar and the peaceful monastery zone. The serene environment, gardens, and temples offer a calm and reflective experience, making it a spiritually enriching day with an overnight stay in Lumbini.
On the final day, you begin the return journey from Lumbini, crossing the Sunauli Border back into India and continuing to Gorakhpur. From here, you board the bus for the long journey back to Akshardham Temple, completing the full spiritual circuit. The day is primarily focused on travel as the yatra comes to an end.
