Standing five stories high, Nyatapola Temple is the tallest traditional pagoda-style temple in Nepal and one of Bhaktapur's most recognizable landmarks. Built in 1702, the temple is admired for its impressive architecture, massive stone guardians, and elegant stairway leading to the shrine. The surrounding Taumadhi Square provides a lively atmosphere filled with local shops and cafés.
