Run the ridgelines of Helambu on one of Nepal's most rewarding high-altitude trail running routes. The Ama Yangri Trail Run takes you deep into the Helambu region from Kathmandu — through Shivapuri National Park's dense forests, past traditional Tamang and Hyolmo villages, over open alpine ridgelines, and up to the summit of Ama Yangri Peak (3,771 m), where Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Everest fill the horizon.
Over 10 days, our team gradually builds your altitude with dedicated acclimatisation stages at Magengoat and Thadepati before the summit push. Expect red panda sightings, ancient monasteries, prayer-flag-wrapped ridges, and the warm hospitality of Helambu's tea houses. This is trail running at its most immersive — raw, high, and unforgettable.
