The Langtang Valley Trek delivers a full Himalayan experience without the flights or crowds. Walk through rhododendron forests, ancient Tamang villages, and open alpine ridges to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m) — framed by Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and endless glaciers inside Langtang National Park.
This is Nepal trekking at its most accessible. Moderate trails, teahouse stays, and mountain views that rival anything on the classic routes — in just 7 days.
Our package includes all meals on trek, teahouse accommodation, an English-speaking guide, Langtang National Park permit, TIMS card, and public bus transfers from Kathmandu.

Board a public bus from Kathmandu early in the in the morning and head north into the Langtang region. The 6-hour drive follows the Trishuli River valley through winding mountain roads and roadside villages — a scenic introduction to what lies ahead.
Syabrubesi (1,503m) is the gateway to Langtang Valley. Settle into your teahouse, rest up, and get your gear ready for Day 1 on the trail.
The trek kicks off from Syabrubesi with a short descent to cross the Langtang Khola, then climbs steadily through subtropical forest. The trail follows the Langtang River upstream through dense rhododendron, bamboo, and oak — keep an eye out for langur monkeys and Himalayan birdlife along the way.
After 6 hours on trail, Lama Hotel (2,450m) is a welcome sight — a cluster of teahouses and lodges nestled deep in the forest. Overnight at a teahouse.
Today the trail climbs out of the forest and opens up into wide alpine terrain. Views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m) grow more dramatic with every step as the valley unfolds around you. Pass through traditional Tamang settlements and yak pastures before arriving at Langtang Village (3,430m) — a culturally rich stop with Tibetan influence, a monastery, and a yak cheese factory worth a visit.
6 hours of trekking, big mountain views, and a genuine taste of Langtang valley life. Overnight at a teahouse.
A shorter day, but one of the most rewarding. The trail continues up the valley through open yak grazing land with sweeping views of Langtang Lirung, Langtang II, and Tserko Ri ridge — arriving in around 4 hours at Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m), the highest point of the trek.
Explore the historic Buddhist monastery, visit the yak cheese factory, and if legs allow, head up to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) or Tserko Ri (4,984m) for jaw-dropping panoramas. Speak to your guide about conditions. Overnight at a teahouse.
Time to head back down the Langtang Valley. The descent retraces the trail through Langtang Village and open hillside pastures — the same route, but the views hit differently on the way down. The lower sections drop back into dense forest where the air gets warmer and the pace slows.
Around 6 hours to Lama Hotel. A good day to take it easy, enjoy the scenery, and rest your legs before the final push out. Overnight at a teahouse.
