This journey combines three of Nepal’s greatest experiences in one trip: the cultural heritage of Kathmandu, the relaxed beauty of Pokhara, and a Himalayan trek to Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 metres.
April is an excellent period for trekking in Nepal. It falls within the spring trekking season, when the hills are especially beautiful and rhododendrons are in bloom. Nepal Tourism Board identifies February–May as one of the best periods for trekking.
The adventure begins in Kathmandu, where the group will explore some of the Kathmandu Valley's most important UNESCO World Heritage sites and experience Nepal's spiritual and cultural heritage.
The journey then continues to Pokhara, Nepal's famous lakeside city and gateway to the Annapurna region. From Pokhara, a private jeep takes the group into the mountains to Ghandruk, one of the best-known traditional Gurung villages.
From Ghandruk, the real Himalayan adventure begins. The trail passes through Chhomrong, Bamboo, Himalaya, Deurali and Machhapuchhre Base Camp before entering the spectacular Annapurna Sanctuary and reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m.
After experiencing sunrise and the magnificent Himalayan amphitheatre surrounding ABC, the group descends through Bamboo to Jhinu Danda, where they can relax in the area's natural hot springs before returning to Pokhara.
The journey concludes with a relaxing day in Pokhara, a return to Kathmandu, and a special farewell dinner accompanied by a traditional Nepali cultural performance.

After breakfast, we begin a full-day private sightseeing tour of Kathmandu's cultural and spiritual landmarks.
Our first destination is Swayambhunath Stupa, situated on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Often known as the Monkey Temple, this ancient Buddhist site provides beautiful panoramic views across the city.
We then continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where traditional Newari architecture, ancient temples, courtyards and former royal palaces reveal centuries of Nepalese history.
The afternoon takes us to Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal's most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, situated along the banks of the Bagmati River.
Our final visit is Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most important centres of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Guests can walk around the enormous white stupa, observe monks and pilgrims, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere surrounding Boudhanath.
After sightseeing, our private vehicle will transfer the group back to the hotel.
After an early breakfast, our team will transfer the group to the tourist bus departure point.
We then leave Kathmandu aboard a comfortable VIP tourist bus for Pokhara, travelling through Nepal's beautiful countryside, river valleys, terraced hills and small settlements.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, our representative will transfer the group to the hotel.
The evening is free to relax and explore the beautiful Lakeside area of Pokhara.
After breakfast, we leave Pokhara behind and travel into the Annapurna foothills by private jeep.
The landscape gradually changes from the city to rural Nepal, with terraced farmland, mountain roads, forests and traditional villages appearing along the journey.
We eventually reach Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in the Annapurna region.
After checking into our accommodation and resting, we will spend time exploring the village. Guests will have an opportunity to discover Gurung traditions, architecture, culture and everyday mountain life.
On a clear day, Ghandruk offers spectacular views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
This relatively relaxed day is also helpful before beginning the main trek.
Today our Annapurna Base Camp trek officially begins.
After breakfast, we leave the stone-paved streets of Ghandruk and follow the mountain trail toward Kimrong Khola.
The trail passes through forests, terraced hillsides, suspension bridges and small settlements before eventually climbing toward Chhomrong.
Chhomrong is one of the most important villages along the Annapurna Sanctuary route and provides spectacular views toward Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.
We settle into our teahouse for the evening and enjoy dinner surrounded by the mountains.
After breakfast, we descend from Chhomrong, cross the river and begin climbing toward Sinuwa.
From here the landscape becomes increasingly wild as we enter beautiful bamboo and rhododendron forests.
We continue through Bamboo and Dovan, following the Modi Khola valley deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary.
By afternoon, we arrive at Himalaya, where we spend the night.
The temperature begins to become noticeably cooler as we gain altitude, and our guide will closely monitor the group throughout the journey.
Today is one of the most exciting days of the entire journey.
After breakfast at Himalaya, we continue ascending toward Deurali as the dense forest gradually gives way to a dramatic high-altitude Himalayan landscape.
From Deurali, we continue toward Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC).
We will stop around MBC for lunch while enjoying increasingly impressive mountain views.
After lunch, we make the final climb into the magnificent Annapurna Sanctuary.
Eventually, prayer flags and the iconic Annapurna Base Camp sign appear ahead of us.
We have reached Annapurna Base Camp — 4,130 metres above sea level.
Surrounded by enormous Himalayan peaks, the feeling of standing inside this natural mountain amphitheatre is unforgettable.
We wake early for one of the most memorable moments of the journey.
As morning light enters the Annapurna Sanctuary, the surrounding mountains gradually illuminate around us.
From Annapurna Base Camp, guests can experience an extraordinary 360-degree Himalayan panorama, surrounded by some of the most spectacular peaks of the Annapurna massif.
There will be time for photographs and to simply enjoy this remarkable location before breakfast.
We then say goodbye to Annapurna Base Camp and begin our descent.
Passing once again through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, Himalaya and Dovan, we eventually arrive at Bamboo, where we spend the night.
After breakfast, we continue descending through the forest toward Sinuwa before returning to Chhomrong.
From Chhomrong, the trail continues downhill toward Jhinu Danda.
After checking into our lodge and resting, guests can visit the famous natural hot springs near Jhinu.
After several days of Himalayan trekking, soaking in the warm natural water beside the river is a wonderful way to relax tired muscles.
We return to our lodge afterward for our final evening in the trekking region.
After breakfast, we leave the Annapurna trekking region.
From the accessible roadhead near Jhinu, our private jeep will take the group back toward Pokhara.
After several adventurous days in the mountains, arriving back in Pokhara brings us once again to comfortable hotel accommodation, hot showers and the relaxed atmosphere of Lakeside.
The remainder of the evening is free.
Today is intentionally kept completely relaxed.
After completing the Annapurna Base Camp trek, guests deserve a full day to recover and enjoy Pokhara at their own pace.
